I used the website/app SkinSort (highly recommend). You make a profile and answer questions about your skin type/skin struggles. Then you search the names of the products you are curious about and SkinSort will tell you if that product is a good matc... I have already started to see a big improvement in my skin simply by being a lot more intentional about only using products that SkinSort has told me are a 95%+ match for my skin.
