My love for sushi (not just the beautiful food but the experience as a whole) knows no bounds. If you're looking for good, quality sushi (not an all-you-can-eat situation with subpar fish) in Denver CO, this list is where it's at.

Restaurants
Located off South Pearl, this is a fun spot for a special occasion with a group or grab a friend/partner and sit at the sushi counter.
Sushi Den
A sister restaurant to Sushi Den and located in the Source in RiNo. Their happy hour is a steal and you can't go without ordering the Salmon Oshizushi, trust me.
Temaki Den
A sceney spot in RiNo. Definitely take advantage of their happy hour. The Hama Chili yellowtail, Walu Walu, zero sen roll, and I loved their take on fried green tomatoes the last time I went.
Uchi Japanese Restaurant
Part of the Sushi Den/Temaki Den family, reopened after a brief hiatus during the pandemic. Great, straightforward sushi, especially if you're a fan of sashimi and nigiri.
Ototo
I have to admit, I haven't been to the Denver location but the Vail location was so incredible I assume the quality spans multiple locations. Everything on the menu is good and don't miss out on the Gardener cocktail!
Matsuhisa
Definitely one of the prettier interiors of the group, this one is part of the Culinary Collective Group (AshKara, Fox & Hen, Bar Dough, Ay Papi, etc) with really beautiful sashimi/nigiri and a few quality rolls.
Kumoya
The least sushi-forward of the group but their hand rolls are incredible and they have a few raw offerings (hamachi, tuna, salmon)
