Fresh Air Fix
Sometimes I need to leave my cave. So these are my go-to spots when I need to actually touch grass, move around, and clear my head. Chill walks, solid views, and places that make it easier to breath literally and mentally.
The view here is out of control. It’s never super crowded and the playground equipment is mostly updated minus the signature rocketship!
Los Arboles "Rocketship" Park
Every Sunday until 1pm the market is huge with live music so many varieties of food and drink and the best thing in my opinion is that you can use your Cal Fresh Benefits at all of the stands!!
Mar Vista Farmers' Market
The recently redid the playground at this Manhattan beach gem and it’s a fantastic place to bring the littles to play and see the ducks!
Polliwog Park
Don’t make the same mistake as I did and make sure to pack sunscreen and water bottles for this excursion! But when I tell you the view on this hike is worth the sunburn! Maybe not the dehydration but it definitely gets close :)
Firebreak Trail to Griffith Observatory
The botanical gardens are so beautiful and have so many different types of flowers, the colors are vast and vibrant and change throughout the seasons. It’s calm and somewhere I love to go when I need to just be..
South Coast Botanic Garden
LA’s Best Kept Secrets
Some of my favorite tucked away, underrated, off the radar nuggets of Los Angeles.

Cabrillo Beach
So the photo gallery may fool you, but this is not in a small town in Nebraska in the 50s. This diner is in the middle of North Torrance as we speak! and has been part of the community since the 80s. It will literally transport you back in time and ...
Country Touch Cafe
My Culinary Crushes
Restaurants with standout food, thoughtful details, and the kind of atmosphere that made me want to stay a little longer. There’s so many restaurants in Los Angeles it can get overwhelming these are the ones that left an impression!
Best pizza in Hermosa and friendliest Staff. It’s a staple and a major comfort food locations
Mickey's Deli: Hermosa Beach Pizza, Sandwiches, and Catering
I will sit in rush hour traffic for Milk Bar. It’s my actual factual favorite desert place in LA. I’ve actually been refining and fine tuning my own rendition of the cereal milk milkshake at home because I was spending too much money on doordash orde...
Milk Bar
360° views of the Redondo Beach Pier. Tony’s has the best seats in the house to enjoy a cocktail watch the sunset. They are famous for their Mai Tai’s which are incredible and have live music some weekends!
Old Tony's
Cozy Caffeinated Corners
Everyone loves a good coffee shop! These are the spots I like to go for a quiet moment, a quality cup, or catching up with someone.
I’m a fan of all the shops and love the insta worthy energy that makes it even more popular but on top of that the espresso is smooth, strong, and not bitter, which is more than I can say for half the shops in L.A. Their beans are high quality, and y...
Alfred Coffee
Such a cutesie fun stop La La Land at The Grove is beautiful! It’s bright, clean design with thoughtful details that actually make you want to sit and stay. I got the Strawberry Fields matcha (topped with fruity pebbles, obviously) and the citrus oli...
LaLa Land Kind Cafe at The Grove
