We've never even turned these up all the way. They pack plenty of sound for studio recording playback and monitoring. The sound is well balanced in our opinion, and the price is amazing for monitors.

These sit under studio monitors to reduce rumble and bass vibrations. They work great for small monitors and they definitely make a difference.
Studio Monitor Isolation Pads
There are more expensive headphones out there for sure, but we haven't needed them. We use these for mixing our songs and they produce a nice clear and well balanced sound.
