items I have so many wonderful memories at these parks. Some of them are well known, some of them not so much! I tried to include ones that are family-friendly for all ages!

This the absolute best metro park anywhere. Unforgettable. A working farm, a house to tour inside, old fashioned toys to try out etc
Slate Run Metro Park
Life changing trip. Incredible view of God's creation. You will need an entire day (or two) to really enjoy it. Pack a large meal and snacks for sure and be sure to stop inside the old churches! Who knows, you might just see a wild bear like I did!
Great Smoky Mountains - National Park Service
Make sure you take the kids on the train ride!
Cuyahoga Valley - National Park Service
One of the best parks, just make sure to go when its not so crowded!
Niagara Falls State Park - Niagara Falls USA
With all the hustle and bustle of the city, Blendon Woods is a great get away from it all just on the outscurts of Columbus. Wild turkey here also!

There is an admission, but there are flowers everywhere. Good path to take children on strollers too.

This park has not only camping but also offers a nice sandy beach, trails, a place to train dogs, a disc golf field, and lots of places to picnic and fish.

This is not the greatest place to take kids as there are some very steep drop offs, but definitely worth stopping. There is an old cotton mill, and lots of trails

Also not a park, but certainly worth grabbing a picnic near this breathtaking view in Tennessee!

Largest collection of roses anywhere, there is also a library and tennis courts nearby. I went here many times as a child and there are bike paths too. Highly recommend!
Whetstone Park and Columbus Park of Roses
This could very well be my all time favorite park in terms of good memories. There are so many long paths, great cabins to lodge in. This is worth every penny!
