Normandy Oaks Park
Beautiful Park, along Cass Lake! It has two playgrounds, one is ADA accessible. It has a seasonal restroom with attached screen porch overlooking Cass Lake. Picnic areas, paved walking path and nature trail.
Marshbank Park
This is a nice place to walk and has pretty surroundings. What better is they now have a brand new lodge. There are six year-round overnight cabins and a heated restroom/shower facility. Check it out!
Hawk Woods Park and Campground
I love this little park, it is on the Clinton River, where you can see ducks in the water . There is a walking path, picnic shelter, and a canoe launch. Very nice.
Riverside Park
Big recreation area. Features lake, shooting range, campground, beach & fishing pier. Nice place to take the family.
Pontiac Lake Recreation Area
Beautiful area. You can walk, hike, and ride your bike. For water lovers you can swim, kayak, and paddleboard. There is a lot do here.
Stony Creek Metropark
This is a big park and you can do a lot here. There are two beaches, a farm with animals, bike trails, walking trails, paddleboats, a golf course, and a nature center. At the nature center you can feed birds right out of your hand, just not the crane...

Detroit Institute of Arts
I love the exhibit “Streets of Old Detroit” You can walk on cobblestone street, see how the city changed from 1840's to early 1900's, very cool. There is a lot to see here. It is fun.
