I do mat Pilates at home and these are the things I actually use. No fluff, just the stuff that makes a real difference when you’re trying to get a workout in between work and mom life.

The Basics
I used a thin mat for way too long and my knees were not happy. A thicker one changes everything, especially for floor work. This is the one I actually use and it doesn’t slide around at all.
High Quality Padded & Extra Thick Yoga Mats
These are a must if you’re doing mat work on hardwood or tile. They keep you stable and honestly they just make the whole thing feel more intentional, like you’re actually in a class.
Maximize Grip and Stability with our Pilates Grip Socks Collection
I roll out before and after every session. My lower back used to bother me a lot and this made a huge difference. Takes like 5 minutes and I skip it at my own risk.
I have gone through so many water bottles. A good insulated one that actually stays cold through a whole workout is worth every penny. I take mine everywhere now.
BrüMate Resa 35oz Leakproof Travel Tumbler
No cord getting in the way during a roll-up is a game changer. I follow along to classes on YouTube and having good sound makes me actually want to show up.
Wireless Earbuds
This little thing looks harmless but it destroys your inner thighs in the best way. Super affordable and it fits in any drawer. I pull it out a few times a week.
Pilates Mini Ball
I need leggings that don’t slide down during a bridge or bunch up during a stretch. High waist, soft fabric, stays in place. That’s the whole criteria.
Cozy Leggings
I add these to leg and glute work and it levels up the burn without needing any equipment. A set of 3 different resistance levels covers everything you need.
