Attractions
A huge museum with a world-famous collection – from the Mona Lisa to Egyptian mummies. If you're not ready to spend the whole day inside, choose in advance what you want to see. It's worth it, but it can be tiring.
Musée du Louvre
An impressive cathedral with a rich history and Gothic architecture. After the fire, it is still being rebuilt, but from the outside it still radiates a special atmosphere. The spirit of Paris is still felt there.
Notre-Dame de Paris
The white pearl at the top of Montmartre. The view of the city is spectacular, but there are a lot of stairs (or a funicular) leading to the top. It can be crowded in the evening, but it's worth every step.
Basilique du Sacré Coeur de Montmartre
A massive and imposing building with strong symbolism. The view from the top of the avenues that stretch out in a circle is a special experience. The traffic around it is crazy, but the monument itself leaves an impression.
Arc de triomphe
A beautiful avenue that has lost some of its charm due to chains like Zara and McDonald's. Still a walking mecca, but if you're looking for authenticity, go to the side streets
Avenue des Champs-Élysées - Tourism in Paris
A paradise for lovers of impressionism - Monet, Van Gogh, Renoir... The museum is located in a former railway station, which gives it extra charm. Less crowded than in the Louvre and a more relaxed atmosphere.
Musée d'Orsay
An artistic district full of charm, street painters and bohemian spirit. Touristic, yes - but you can still find corners where you can feel the old Paris. Perfect for a leisurely stroll.
A Walk Through Montmartre
Students, bookstores, small cafeterias and intellectual energy. Relaxed and authentic. If you want to feel the "life of Paris", this is the right place - without pomp, but with soul.
A walk in the Latin Quarter
The eternal resting place of many great French figures, but also an architectural gem. There is something serious and quiet about that building. From the roof – a great view of the city.
Welcome to the Panthéon
Probably the most beautiful bridge in Paris – decorated with statues, gold details and a view of the Eiffel Tower. Ideal for photos and romantic walks, especially at dusk.
Pont Alexandre III - Tourist attractions
A huge park under the Eiffel Tower – a great place for a picnic and a rest. There aren't many facilities, but the greenery and the view of the tower make up for it. It can be crowded on weekends.
The Champ-de-Mars park, a must-see at the foot of the Eiffel Tower
An impressive palace and a symbol of French luxury - incredible in terms of size and details, but also in terms of the number of tourists. The Hall of Mirrors and gardens are truly spectacular, but be prepared for long lines and a lot of walking. If ...
Versailles
A perfect day for families and fans of fairy tales, but if you're not in the Disney mood, maybe everything seems too commercial and busy. The park is huge, the attractions are thematically great, but the queues can be exhausting. The greatest sparkle...
Disneyland Paris - tickets, deals, family holidays
The most famous symbol of Paris - tourists adore it, but locals rarely visit it. The view from the top is impressive, but the crowds and prices can be tiring. The most beautiful scene is actually from a distance, especially in the evening when it lig...
The Eiffel tower
Restaurants
The location is perfect - the terrace looks right at the Louvre and its glass pyramids. The ambience is elegant and "Parisian chic", but the food often does not justify the price. Ideal for a coffee or a drink with a view, less for a gourmet experien...
Le Café Marly | Restaurant in Paris under the arcades of the Louvre
A restaurant with a spectacular view of the Eiffel Tower, especially in the evening - a real Instagram star. The interior is sophisticated, and the atmosphere is glamorous. The prices are too high compared to the quality of the food, but if you want ...
Girafe Paris - Girafe
Unique glass roof overlooking the center of Paris – ultra-modern ambiance in the style of “Sex and the City” (they filmed there). More of a “place to be seen” than a place for a serious meal. The music can be loud and the service cold. Cool for drink...
KONG – Bar Restaurant à Paris avec une cuisine de fusion franco ...
An ultra-modern restaurant with a futuristic design and a great view of the city. The location is superb, especially at dusk. The food is solid, but overpriced for what you get. The atmosphere is often "cool, but distant". Worth a visit for the view ...
Georges | Rooftop restaurant Paris | Pompidou | Eiffel Tower View
A restaurant inside the Eiffel Tower - a location that nothing can beat, but everything else is... average. The food is fair, but more of an experience than gastronomy. You come here for the "story", not for the cuisine. Reservation is mandatory, and...
Official website of the Eiffel Tower Restaurants - Paris // 58 Tour Eiffel
A beautiful rooftop restaurant at the top of the Musée du Quai Branly, with one of the most beautiful views of the Eiffel Tower - directly in front of you. The ambience is elegant, ideal for a romantic dinner. The food is solid, modern French cuisine...
Les Ombres - Paris
The legendary Parisian cafeteria in Saint-Germain-des-Prés – a historic place where Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir and Picasso sat. You come for the charm and spirit of the past, not for the food. Expensive for what it offers (omelet, croissant, coffee),...
Café de Flore
Restaurant at the top of Tour Montparnasse – the highest panorama of the city. The view is breathtaking, especially at night when the Eiffel Tower shines. The interior is retro-elegant, and the atmosphere is quiet and more formal. The food is correct...
