These are all cities and tourist traps that I’ve unfortunately been to and feel like were a waste of my time.

Probably THE most over hyped tourist location. It’s boring, not many good restaurants, and over priced.
Catalina Island
Terribly depressing. Nothing to do. Doesn’t feel safe.
Calexico, CA
Did not feel safe at any point while visiting this city.
Bakersfield, CA
What a terrible little town, not worth the stop.
Pirate Cove Resort
There are so many beautiful hotels to stay at in Vegas. Don’t waste your money here. The room was bare minimum tolerable, not comfortable beds.
The LINQ Hotel + Experience on the Las Vegas Strip
Just do yourself a favor, don’t go here. Nothing to see.
San Bernardino, CA | Official Website
Worst zoo I’ve ever been do. If you want to feel sad looking at the animals, then come here.
Los Angeles Zoo
Maybe it’s nicer in the winter, but I’ve been in summer twice, and it’s boring, hot, and there is nothing to do.

Lake Havasu City, Arizona | GO FOR IT.
Definitely over hyped, not worth your money or time
LA County Fair
Don’t make the mistake we did and drive north of Napa looking for a good time. This was a depressing lake town.
Clearlake, CA
Unless you want to visit a dying has been mall, don’t go here.
Beverly Center
This used to be a cool place to come and grab lunch. Now it is a terrible and dirty place to come.
San Pedro Fish Market
While this used to be a cool place to Come, it is not as it once was.
