Parking costs, but you can easily spend a day here and eat, drink, watch a rocket launch from the pier or just beach your ass in the sand like a dead whale.
Cocoa Beach Pier
About $25 to get in. Various parking lots! I found some sand dollars here! Just take note that the very end is a nude beach.
Playalinda Beach
$8 to get in at time of post! I found a starfish, jellyfish and some cool shells. This one seemed great for fishing.
Sebastian Inlet State Park

Went to southern tip and took a side trail, completely missing the no swimming or wading signs. $3 at time of post! It has a lighthouse and museum there too.
Gasparilla Island State Park

Stayed at Topaz Motel and just walked across the street! These are my pics from our trip. Perfect. And didn’t have to walk far in the sand to get to the ocean!

So many beaches in Pinellas! Never too many though.
$6 to get in, you can pay on an app! We found a calico crab, sea urchin, starfish, horseshoe crab and amazing shells! Side note: no sea creatures were harmed by us, the ones we held weren’t alive!

Free! Kind of tucked away behind some businesses. Shallow and calm waters, playground, picnic areas and you can see the planes flying low!
