my little reading essentials (a must-have)

these are the little things i like having around when i want to make reading feel extra cozy and actually get through a few chapters.
i still prefer a real bookmark over folding the corner like a criminal. 😂
a good bookmark
i like having somewhere to dump my random thoughts before i forget them.
a reading journal
everything tastes better when i'm reading and drinking from a mug i actually like.
a cute reading mug
because “i'll just read one more chapter” somehow always happens after everyone else is asleep.
a small reading lamp
another little layer of protection because apparently i can't trust my own bag.
a book pouch
i like these for random thoughts when i don't want to write all over the actual book.
sticky notes
a tiny bit of bookish decor makes my reading space feel much more like mine.
literary art print (digital)
weirdly satisfying when i can hold my book open with one hand and still have the other hand free.
page holder
especially nice when i'm reading at my desk and don't want to keep fighting with the pages.
book stand
i need something that can handle a book, a water bottle, and all the other things i somehow carry around.
a tote bag
my back appreciates this more than my younger self would like to admit.
a reading pillow
i like marking the parts i know i'll want to find again later.
book tabs
i always need one nearby because apparently every book has something worth underlining.
a good pen
i like this for my pen, obviously.
pen holder
i know tracking books doesn't make me a better reader but i still love seeing the little list grow.
