Not something long or perfect—just speaking to Allah in your own words. Sometimes I just sit and say what I feel, even if it’s messy.

When everything feels overwhelming, I don’t push myself to read a lot. I just return to a short surah I already love and let it ground me again. For me, I love surah Ad - Dhuha.

On low-energy days, I play Qur’an recitation and just sit with it. It helps when I don’t have the strength to focus but still want to stay connected.

Instead of panicking, I remind myself: even this distance is part of the journey. It doesn’t mean I’ve lost my way, it just means I need to return again.
7. Let yourself feel it (without guilt)

8. Do one small good deed

I remind myself that feeling lost doesn’t mean I am lost. It just means I’m human.
9. Let myself start again (without pressure)

When I feel disconnected, I don’t overwhelm myself—I just repeat something simple like SubhanAllah or Alhamdulillah and let it slowly settle my heart.
10. Go back to the simplest dhikr

Sometimes I don’t feel anything right away—and that’s okay. Just choosing to turn back to Allah, even quietly, feels like a step in the right direction.
11. Sit with the intention to come back (even if I don’t feel it yet)

I think back to a time when things worked out in a way I didn’t expect. It reminds me that even when I feel distant, He has never really left me.
12. Remember a moment Allah answered me before

Sometimes I don’t even know how to fix what I’m feeling. So I just make a simple du’a: “Ya Allah, bring my heart back to You.” And I let that be enough.
13. Ask Allah to help me come back

Even when I feel distant, I try to remember that the distance is from my side—not His. That alone brings a quiet kind of comfort.

Sometimes the heaviness stays because I’m in the same space, same routine. Even just moving to a different spot or going outside helps shift something inside me.
15. Change my environment, even slightly
