Jacksons Art stretched cotton canvases are wonderful quality and I use them more than any other brand of canvas.

Winsor & Newton professional linen canvases are a gorgeous, premium surface to paint on. 100% linen and primed with layers of acrylic gesso this is a fantastic surface to paint on.

Oil painting paper can be a great alternative to canvas or if you simply want to try out ideas. I use it a lot for preliminary studies. These Fabriano pads are wonderful quality.

If you like a really smooth surface to paint on then these gesso boards by Ampersand are ideal. A premium surface with a super fine tooth. They are fabulous to paint on.

Mediums are great for changing the consistency of your paint
Linseed oil remains one of the best oil painting mediums for improving the flow of oil colours. This brand is for use with water mixable oils.

For use with water mixable oil paints, this medium is a perfect way to thin your paints and dries more slowly than compared to water.
