This is my favorite book of the series so far. Maas’s writing, at least to me, seems to have really evolved over the course of these books, and this one is the best yet.
Heir of Fire
This is (currently) my #1 book of the year. If you’ve only watched the show, I implore you to read the book because I did the reverse and I honestly don’t know if I’ll be able to finish the show.
A Discovery of Witches: A Novel

The Dragon Republic
I absolutely loved the first and second books of this series! I’m currently struggling through the third, so we’ll see how things end up 🤷🏻♀️
The Poppy War: A Novel

This was such a cute story, and I loved how the author really made sure to make everyone’s awareness of Ali’s kids.
