The leaves are changing, the weather is getting cooler and after a day working, venturing to festivals or grabbing a pumpkin its nice to relax at home and play a game. These are my favorite cozy games to play as the weather begins to chill for the PC...

No cozy game list would be complete without Stardew Valley. It's very well-regarded in many aspects and it's one of my top-five favorite games of all time.
Stardew Valley sees you inherit your grandfathers farm and move to Pelican City. Here, you'll befriend locals, raise crops and animals, transvere mines, an island, fish and so much more. As you may have guessed, its a farming simulation but with so m...
I do generally play it on the PC but from time to time play it on the Switch.
Stardew Valley
Unpacking is a fun, cozy game that sees you follow an unnamed character throughout several years of her life (childhood to college and then her post-college years).
In this game, you have to decorate various rooms in their house and along the way uncover a subtle but intriguing narrative through her possessions.

Cat Cafe Manager involves, as the name implies, running a cat cafe (which have gotten popular in the US and Japan, along with other animals). This is a fun, cozy game which has seen a couple updates since its release a few years ago.

Tiny Bookshop was a game I discovered right around when it was released and as an avid reader, quickly played the demo of…then bought the game.
I appreciate the calm, quiet atmosphere of the game as you slowly befriend locals and expand your humble mobile bookshop. It is cool to see plenty of recognizable titles.
If you love books, this is a must-buy.
Tiny Bookshop
Luna's Fishing Garden is a cozy game where you fish to find various times of fish in order to build a garden. It's a fairly short but addictive game that is great when you need something short and sweet!
Luna's Fishing Garden
Cozy Crunch is a recently released game (as of this writing in October 2025) that sees you control a cat whose goal is to crunch leaves, a lot of leaves.
It's a short game, but very light-hearted and cozy. The graphics and concept are cute (your cat can gain better abilities for crunching the seemingly infinite number of leaves). There is also a demo available.

Fields of Mistria is still in early access but its one of those rare games that feels very complete. The developers are very communicative and are still doing updates and patching leading up to the full release.

Animal Crossing is an iconic title when it comes to Nintendo properties and cozy games. It's also a rare title that even people who don't generally play games love (I have a couple friends in this category!) It's a fantastic game with a lot of replay value as well.
Animal Crossing New Horizons sees you build up a community on an island, much like the other games. However, there have been many significant changes that make the experience feel very refreshing and deep. As you develop the island, you'll befriend l...

Miitopia is a very cozy RPG that lets you create your own characters and go on a simple but fun adventure. There are a couple funny moments (both intentional and organic) that make it a good, straightforward to curl up with.

I've been a long-time Harvest Moon fan but hadn't played a new title in quite some time. Enter Winds of Anthos--a solid entry in the series that sees you helping the Harvest Goddess to stop a volcanic eruption.
What I enjoyed about this game was its peaceful nature, the ability to have pets and how much you can do (mining, farming) and having the ability to venture around the land.
