Daily Reads

We've added these excellent titles to our daily bedtime routines.  If we miss a night, we'll do a quick catch-up the next night.  These have sparked some great conversations and helped us grow the curiosity & excitement for learning in our home!

We have been loving this book for learning & using a new word each day!  We enjoy quizzing each other on previous ways and trying to find sneaky ways to use these new words in our everyday conversations.  I love seeing the additional vocabulary my kids are learning and using!

Trying to get your kids more excited about history?  This is definitely the book for that!  My husband is a Social Studies Teacher and loves the level of information this provides our kids with.  Each day has multiple historical facts from that specific day in history.  We have enjoyed learning these facts alongside our children.

Storybooks We Love

Storybooks help us teach our girls big topics and educate them on many topics that are not tangible.  We love the opportunity to help them prepare for real life scenarios and understand their emotions at such a young age.

We've been reading this sweet book for years.  It's become a family statement for us, often telling each other, “You Mean The World To Me!” before bed each night.

The sweetest story to help our children process grief after the loss of their Grammie/my mom.  This is the female version, but there is also a male version.  Buy whichever fits your loss.  We have loved the ability to use books to help us process loss with our children.

So much love for this sweet story!  I choose this one to read to my kiddos' classrooms whenever there's an opportunity to do so.  Great lesson on remembering that we are all the same on the inside, and shouldn't judge others for what's on the outside.
