I spent much of my childhood developing my love of reading. And I love to share books that I think are worth your time!
This was such a sweet story! I typically read more thrillers but this had such heart. And, because I knew it was going to be made into a series, I had fun trying to picture it.
Margo's Got Money Troubles: A Novel
This was so good! With a twist I didn't see coming!
Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six: A Novel of Thrilling Suspense
If you haven't discovered May Cobb's books, let this one be your first!! So deliciously good! Great beach read!
My Summer Darlings
Truthfully, I almost DNF'd this one. I normally love John Mars but this one was a bit harder to get into. But once you're hooked, you're IN! I struggle with books where the main character is so unlikeable but that's what makes this one so good!
The Good Samaritan
A lesser know Colleen Hoover book but, I feel like it's one of her best! Such a CRAZY twist, do not sleep on this one!
Layla
Riley Sager is a master story teller. And this one did not disappoint! Atmospheric, creepy but another one with a great twist.
Home Before Dark
Another one that veers away from my usual thrillers but honestly, it was such an amazing story! We can all start again, even when we think we can't.
The Wedding People: A Novel
Ok, hear me out. Grady Hendrix does not get enough love for his books. If you love a good horror combined with the nostalgia of the 80's, this one is it!
My Best Friend's Exorcism
Great story, great twist and even better? There's a part two book out!
The Last Mrs. Parrish: A Novel
You're going to see MANY Alice Feeney books on my list. Her books will suck you in to the point where you realize you haven't picked your head up in HOURS! So good!
Daisy Darker: A Novel
This one is very polarizing. You either love it or you hate it. I, fortunately, loved it. I've never lived in the south but I think it's been captured perfectly here. Add in a random vampire and you've got a really great read!
The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires
Simone St. James is another author that absolutely hits it out of the park every time. Atmospheric, great story telling.
Murder Road
I read this book years ago but it's one I've re-read more than once. It is laugh out loud funny and you will find almost all her books in my lists.
