No matter how many snakes you have, these items are a must have.
I love the prococo cocochip substrate. It maintains humidity and makes spot cleaning 170 snakes so easy!
Prococo: Home
This is a must have if you’re like me and have snakes but don’t love getting bitten when you feed them. 😂
Feeding Tongs | Zoo Med Laboratories, Inc.
Snake Mites. They are something you never want to deal with, trust me. Using this insecticide in a solution, you can preventatively treat your own snakes once a month to ensure you never get mites.
Taurus SC Termiticide & Insecticide
This is necessary to check the temperatures in your snake enclosure. Too hot and your snake could burn and too cool and the snake won’t be able to digest.
Infrared Thermometers at Lowes.com
Hides make your ball python(s) more comfortable in their enclosure! The more secure the snake is, the happier it is and the better feeding response it has. Two hides, one for the cool side of the enclosure and one for the warm side is the best setup.

This controls the heat for your snake. It makes sure the enclosure doesn’t get too hot or too cold. A must have for happy snakes.
Thermostats - Reptile Temperature Control
A tank for your snake. Not too much else to say. 😂
Reptile Tanks: Terrariums, Enclosures & Cages
These are great for any sized tank. They allow for ventilation without letting your snake out… You will have to watch the humidity though and make sure it doesn’t get too low.
Best Terrarium Covers
These are very handy. They keep your snake IN the enclosure. I doubt my parents would’ve ever allowed me to get snakes if not for these. 😂
Reptile Cage Clips
The only heat source you really need for your pet ball python. This helps them thermoregulate (control their body temperature) so they can properly digest without getting too warm.
