Best Trail Shoe in my experience. Tough rock plate with plenty of cushion.
Speedgoat Trail Running & Hiking Shoes
My favorite shoe for road running. Perfect amount of cushion.
GEL-CUMULUS® Running Shoes
Great for less than 50 mile runs. Durable, soft, dry.
Balega
Absolutely the best socks for runs more than 50 miles. Great for blister prevention. I wear these the whole race.
Injinji Toesocks
Great for preventing blisters at hotspots. I wrap the bottoms of my feet and big toes with KT tape.
DICK'S Sporting Goods
Simple. Put this on your hotspots and repeat to prevent blisters and chaffing.
Vaseline
I have a bad ankle. Sprained it many times. This is the best brace I've had.
Ankle Braces & Compression Sleeves
Apparel and Gear
By far my favorite shorts for running. Includes a compression liner with big pockets for phone and gels. Total six pockets
Korsa Men's Running Shorts
Simple hat, but important to cover from sun and rain. I've had many of these.
Running Hats & Headwear
Relatively inexpensive and durable. I've had the same pair for years.
Tightrope | Polarized Sport Sunglasses
I actually have an older version of this jacket, but similar. Great for running in cold.
Men's Korsa Ventilate Mesh Jacket
Great for keeping your ears warm in cold weather.
R-Gear Onyx Grid Fleece Hat
Excellent for runs that require only one water bottle. Fits very comfortably. I ran a 100 mile race with this belt, no problems.
Ultra™ Belt 17oz
I have an older version. This new one looks even better than mine. I've been through all types of races with this vest. Great pockets, super durable.
Running Packs & Vests
Great for when the weather gets cold! Great pockets!
I love my Fenix 7. Watches can be contentious among ultrarunners, but my fenix has been perfect. My longest race with it was over 30 hours. I had no problems, stats and battery were good.
Garmin fēnix® 7 Pro Sapphire Solar | Multisport Smartwatch
Nutrition
Great for pre-hydration, electrolytes
Nuun Endurance - Performance Hydration Drink Mix
For pre and post run. Great fasts and protein for recovery.

Roctane Energy Gel | Amino Acid Supplement
I love this brand. All natural. Delicious, even after hours on the trail.
Huma Gel
Hits the spot for carb loading the night before a race. Lots of protein too.
Simply Nature Chickpea Rotini & Penne 2-Pack
A must for me during a race. I pop these while running to keep my electrolytes going.
SaltStick Electrolyte Capsules with Vitamin D
Big calories for a big race. I love these bars during a 100 mile race, or even after a shorter race. Very dense, but tasty.
Range Meal Bars: All-Natural High Calorie Meal Replacement Bars
Simple, tasty, easy calories. I eat these all the time as a snack and before a run.
Shop All Protein Bars
My favorite pre race meal. Put some almond butter in it too!

Simple ingredient protein bars. Tasty snack for recovery.
