This is for the girls who are busy but need some good reads. A curated list of my favorites so your time won't be wasted!
My favorite book and an amazing read! This book explores navigating human emotions and experiences, aiming to form stronger connections which is invaluable in today's world!
Atlas of the Heart: Mapping Meaningful Connection and the Language ...
Taught me a lot, most importantly to trust your gut.
Blink: The Power of Thinking Without Thinking
Poetry- but wait- that is easy to read with beautiful words and good messages. Very short but will leave you thinking! A great collection!
Milk and Honey: Rupi Kaur
I won't lie, this was a book I was assigned to read in 11th grade literature class. HOWEVER, it is so, so good. I still think about this book. Would definitely recommend for anyone remotely interested in true crime.
In Cold Blood: Truman Capote
I am not a surgeon but I do like the way Atul writes in this book! Intention vs performance is the main focus which I feel anyone can benefit from, I know I did!
Better: Gawande, Atul:
Such a great book with a shock at the end that I am still thinking about… a must read!
We Were Liars: Lockhart, E.: Books
If you haven't read this…. you need to. My favorite book that I prefer over the movie!
Pride and Prejudice: Austen, Jane
I originally saw the movie before I knew that there was a book. Let me tell you, this one will have you staying up overnight to finish it. So good and so many truths told.
Redeeming Love: Rivers, Francine
This became so popular last year following the movie release with Blake Lively. The book is different and a must-read! I finished it in one sitting.
It Ends with Us: A Novel; Hoover, Colleen
This book sits on my nightstand now to remind me of self-sabotage which is something I struggle with… as a lot of people do. Get. This. Book!
