Low Effort, High Impact
So, I ebb and flow in being regimented in skin care but I do keep staples. This is a list of everything that stays in my rotation and never lets me down. Also, mostly budget friendly.
I have sensitive combination skin and a habit of overdoing acne masks and drying out. My esthetician recommended barrier repair to simplify my routine and that has been a constant in the roster …LaRoche always comes to the rescue
Toleriane Double Repair Face Moisturizer - La Roche-Posay
The perfect way to add a little glow for spring and summer skin without damage..I take one to two little drops added into my face lotion and that’s just enough for face and neck :)
Light Face + Body Self Tan Drops - Tanologist | Ulta Beauty
Quick little swipe on lips and cheek is a quick, pool and beach ready save
Easily the best mascara I’ve used. No clumps and it didn’t weigh my lashes down. I used brown during the day and black at night (yes I’m traditional and basic)
Lash It Loud Volumizing Mascara | e.l.f. Cosmetics
Best and most effective Vitamin C serum, recommended to me by my esthetician as a budget friendly way to add Vit C to your regimen. I use it twice a day and do a little lymph massage while working it in, then usually follow with moisturizer. I notice...
Vitamin C Complex Serum - Naturium
A year or so ago I stopped getting monthly manicures. I had the most beautiful long nails with these baddie designs and maybe some day I will get back to that, but right now momma is working too much and painting too much for that. So while I wait, I...
Hard As Nails
Follow up from my Sally Hansen post, I add a coat or two of this and its this really JUICY watermelon type of sheer color, very reminiscent to me of 2007 french mani with a pink tint. Cool girl wear. Anyway, there are a ton of colors and its all buil...
Touch My Elf Gel Color - Magpie Beauty USA
Wiggle it and use close to the lash line. This is the one other mascara I have used that really doesnt clump. Sometimes I still do a little separating…depends on how i feel.
This is the BEST smelling hair oil I have ever used. It smells like honeysuckles but light and a little goes a long way. I have coarse wavy LONG hair and I use this to smoothe things. It has replaced the straightening iron!
Hair Oil – OUAI
I have thick, wavy/curly hair, which I was about 3 times a week. In between, or if I go a little longer, I use this bad boy. ALSO, SINCE IM OLD I spot treat gray hair with it. Also you can use it texturize your bangs. 10/10
Batiste Dry Shampoo for Dark Hair
I love a bright pop of color on just about everything and especially my face. Ha. But I use this when all I want to do is add mascara and get out the door. Feels good and not too sticky!
Youthtopia Apple Jelly Lip Balm - Origins | Ulta Beauty
Fragrance
Budget friendly but smells expensive. I am a big fan of layering perfumes and so when I am feeling spicy I spritz this on my wrist and teeny bit behind my ear then follow up with a lighter scent. I will add some to this list!
Donna Born In Roma Eau de Parfum - Valentino | Ulta Beauty
A sexy layering scent. I prefer the cologne to the perfume, but they are both similarly rustic and spicy.
Sauvage Eau de Toilette - Dior | Ulta Beauty
No melt, light smell (layerable), and compact. I always keep some type of spray in my bag but am prone to accidents and the less liquids I carry, the better.
The Solid Fragrance - Only Human - NOYZ | Ulta Beauty
When I die, bury me in this. Like, in a pool of it. That's the essence.
Velvet Orchid Eau de Parfum - TOM FORD | Ulta Beauty
Powerful feminine energy harnessed in a chic bottle.
Flor De Madera Perfume - Nopalera | Ulta Beauty
A light perfume that mixes with your body chemicals into something specifically sexy. I am attracted to myself when I wear this.
Infusion d'Iris Eau de Parfum - Prada | Ulta Beauty
