A beautiful dog friendly park with ponds, a stream and a cute waterfall. It's stunning in the spring with the cherry blossoms and fall colors aren't too shabby as well! So many great photo ops as you take a walk with your dog!
Franklin Park
We love this park for it's beautiful water fall, large dog park and miles of trails. Go and take your dog for a walk!
Quarry Trails - Metro Parks - Central Ohio Park System
Walk along Alum Creek on your way from the parking area. Lovely, shaded park with two sections and minimal amount of dogs.
Natural Dog Park - City of Bexley
A short (under an hour) drive from Columbus with some premier scenery and hiking and many, many dog friendly trails. Stunning in the fall!
Hocking Hills
A fun dog friendly trail that runs along the lake. Varied terrain makes it fun and interesting.
Rocks and Roots Trail Trailhead
It has “dog” in the name so you know dogs are welcome! Has a small outdoor seating area where you can have a cold one with your pup!
BrewDog Franklinton
Dog park that doubles as a coffee shop, ice cream place and bar. How unique!
Bumble's Backyard

We love that this ice cream shop has a walk up window outside so your dog can walk right up with you to order their own pup cup! Ample seating outside as well!
Johnson's Real Ice Cream
Our favorite dog friendly brewery. Love that dogs can be inside since they don't serve food (although there is a delicious food truck out back) so it's ideal for those cold or hot days. Check out their Wednesday trivia nights - so much fun!
The Daily Growler - German Village/Brewery District
Large outdoor area with shade makes this to have brunch with your favorite dog!
Gemüt Biergarten
The location in Olde Town East has a large outdoor area making it paw-fect to bring your dog along.
Columbus Brewing Company
You can't mention dog friendly and Columbus without mentioning Brewdog! Dog friendly restaurant with outdoor seating, as well as a dog friendly hotel connected to the brewery! A must do while in Columbus.
