Dine-in bars and restaurants
Where Pacific flair meets Calgary. Lulu slaps.
Lulu Bar
Believe me, a pint of Radler and a (few) pounds of wings are the ultimate reward after surviving a long day!
Comery Block
Gluten-free and delicious! They have very affordable lunch combos and the coconut coffee and flan with tapioca are great sweet treats!
TRE Vietnamese Kitchen
I take my parents here every time they’re in town, the cozy atmosphere, delicious steaks, and generous portions make it such a great spot (and the prices are surprisingly reasonable!).
Nick's Steakhouse & Pizza
A tucked-away spot in Chinatown with tropical-inspired cocktails and Vietnamese fusion bites. Definitely worth checking out!
Paper Lantern
A downtown pop-up bar and restaurant with food that truly captures the flavors of France. It’s a nostalgic experience every time.
Francine's - A French Bar
Take-out/Delivery
One of the best burgers I’ve ever had in Calgary and super affordable. The Corney Island Burger is truly special!
Class Clown in Calgary
I’ve been going to this place for years. The Nhu Y special and Banh Mi Nem Nuong are fire! Their Vietnamese iced coffee is also the closest to the iced coffee in Vietnam! You can also buy their homemade pate by lb to eat at home with your baguettes.
Banh Mi Nhu Y Calgary
Their Korean fried chicken is next-level, perfectly crispy and packed with flavor. The hot crispy and Gangnam Style are my personal favorites.
bbq Chicken
My Toronto fave, still thinking about that Bún Cá all the way from Calgary!
Phở Anh Vũ Toronto
I always order the shredded pork congee and the BBQ roasted pork and duck combo, consistently delicious and great value.
Congee Queen Toronto
Coffee and sweet treats
You can smell it from blocks away! The croissants are baked fresh right next door to the café, the almond ones are my favorite.
Butter Block
Another solid place for pastries and coffee. The pear croissants are my go-to here!
The Black Sheep Patisserie
A great coffee spot perched on the 21st floor of the Edison Building in downtown Calgary. We’ve held several tech community events here, and the atmosphere never disappoints.
MobSquad Café
My go-to bubble tea spot. The staffs here are so friendly and helpful! I’ve tried many flavors and so far all of them are great!
