🧚 Fantasy
If you haven’t read this one, you need to. Magic, dragons, romance, war. It has all the things. Love this series and can’t wait for more books.
Fourth Wing - Rebecca Yarros
The series that got me into fantasy. I hold so much love in my heart for this series. Romance, fairies, and war, it’s all around an amazing series with more to come from the author. The world building in the first book starts a little slow but it’s s...
A Court of Thorns and Roses - Sarah J. Maas
I loved this book a lot. It has a unique magic system, gothic fairytale vibes. The ending was satisfying and the story line flowed well and was easy to follow.
One Dark Window - Rachel Gillig
I absolutely adore this series. I have read the entire series twice. It’s a light and fun super easy read that keeps you wondering what’s the truth and what’s a lie. Kinda fantasy, kinda romance. A little enemies to lovers action. I will go back to t...
Caraval - Stephanie Garber
🖤 Dark Romance
You’ve heard of it, I’m here to recommend it. If you like dark, if you like chaotic, if you like “what the f did I just read” this one is for you. Definitely check trigger warnings. My favorite dark romance to date.
Haunting Adeline (Cat and Mouse Duet 1)
If you like Haunting Adeline or a little stalker type dark romance then you will enjoy this duet. A fairly short read and a good book to transition between genres with.
Little Stranger - Leigh Rivers
A little supernatural dark romance with a deadly games component. Gothic haunted house vibes. This book is honestly a fun experience.
Phantasma - Kaylie Smith
This was an EMOTIONAL read for me. Check trigger warnings. Heartbreaking, traumatic, and I absolutely cried. If trigger warnings don’t mean anything to you, I highly recommend going in blind. The story is heartbreakingly beautiful.
Still Beating - Jennifer Hartmann
🔪 Thrillers & Suspense
In typical Frieda fashion there are a lot of twists and turns in this. The vibes are very much “unhinged housewife”. Very fast paced, I read it in 2 days. I gave this book 4 stars on fable ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dear Debbie - McFadden, Frieda
Based on a true story, this one is heartbreaking and unsettling. It’s very descriptive and has wonderful writing. A little slow paced but a good read. This is definitely dark, and reading trigger warnings is highly recommended.
Unspeakable Things - Jess Lourey.
My favorite Freida book, 5 stars. The plot: perfect. The plot twists: insane. It’s fast paced, I read this in a day. Definitely a page turner.
Never Lie - Freida McFadden
This book had me hooked from start to finish and it is such a good read if you like a mystery thriller with a supernatural take. 5 star read for me .
Ask for Andrea - Noelle W Ihli
This book gets some undeserved hate. Just when I thought I knew what was going on, I had it all wrong. The plot twist at the end was absolutely incredible. Another 5 star read ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Rock Paper Scissors - Alice Feeney
Dark, twisted, and inspired by a true story. I loved this book so much. It’s intense and definitely a page turner.
Gray After Dark - Noelle W Ihli
Are you looking for absolutely devastating and uncontrollable sobs? This one’s for you. The ending wrecked me. Thought it was gonna be a 3 star read at about the halfway mark, ended up a 5 star read. I had to take a hot shower to process the emotiona...
Still Missing - Chevy Stevens
Super fast paced page turner. I found myself constantly wanting to know what was going to happen next and how they were going to get out of the situation, as well as calculating in my mind who was doing what and what was going on. Noelle Ihli never d...
Run on Red - Noelle W Ihli
As always, in Frieda fashion, I didn’t see the twist coming. If you like relationship drama, lies, and hidden secrets, then this one’s for you. I gave this 4 stars, only because Im growing tired of the manipulation aspect of books. I did enjoy this a...
The Divorce - Freida McFadden
❤️ Romance
An enemies to lovers that made me irrationally angry in the best way. Lots of plot twists, fun romancing, a bit of spice.
Twisted Hate - Ana Huang
If you don’t like crying over books, skip this one. It will break your heart over and over and leave you sobbing like a mess. With that being said, it’s incredibly well written and deeply moving.
The Last Letter - Rebecca Yarros
The first romance book I ever read, and I loved it. I ate it up. Tropes are a little grumpy/sunshine and a lot forbidden romance. Slow burn and full of good chemistry between characters. Five stars for me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
