Ultra Hydrating Skin Essentials as an AZ Teacher (Glass Skin with Efficiency)
Living in AZ can definitely take a toll on the skin. Then add in the stress and fatigue that can come with a job like teaching high school. So saturating my skin with hydration and focusing on bringing life back to tired dull skin is always my priority. Not to mention, I started this job at 22! So I want my routine to keep my youthful glow as long as possible now that I’m in my 30s. And remember as a teacher who is ALWAYS busy, my goal is to optimize this process because I don’t have time typically for a thousand steps. My routine order is usually the same morning and night, except during the morning my final step is SPF and at nighttime I add my barrier cream to lock in all the steps while I sleep. 1st step to last step is- cleanser, hydrating spray, collagen serum, mucin serum, under-eye treatment then under-eye hydration, moisturizers (medical then regular). Takes about 5 minutes. I’m also aware there is ALOT of Kiehl’s on here. This brand time and time again has saved my skin. I fall into beauty trends just like everyone else- but something I have learned as I’ve gotten older is that my skin is super sensitive. Especially here in our AZ climate. Being originally from the PNW, I never had an issue with moisture retention and my skin barrier but here, any little thing can disrupt that for me. Kiehl’s products have rebalanced and resurrected my skin from the depths so that’s what I use.
