A super cute shop that you should stop at while you’re in town! It’s not just linens, they have pictures, clothing, and other home decor as well! The staff is super friendly.

The Friendly Market is located in Morehead City but it’s worth the short drive! Their products are local to NC and they have tons of homemade food!! The chicken salad is something special and you definitely can’t go without trying the crack pie.

Things to do
Beaufort is OLD and it’s located on the water (Blackbeard was said to come through these parts) so these cemeteries have some interesting stories. A great spot to check out if you’re into history.

If you’re wanting to go to Shackleford, the lighthouse, carrot island and don’t have a boat you’ll definitely need to take a ferry. This service has the best reviews!

The cape lookout lighthouse is a must see if you’re in the Beaufort area! You’ll need to take a ferry if you don’t have a boat. Make sure to check out the history of the lighthouse while you’re there.

The Rachel Carson Reserve is made up of 5 islands and is absolutely beautiful! It’s home to some of the wild ponies of Beaufort and a lot of other wildlife.
