our go-to date night spot in CLT. they never miss - pro tip to call ahead early to get in without a resi. Order the burger and a few apps with any of their cocktails (dirty martini for me).
The Crunkleton
This place is so good. Cozy and slightly elevated without being stuffy. They do a fun twist on a lot of their dishes
Customshop
This is the only Mexican restaurant you need to be going to. I am obsessed with chicken Tinga flautas and theirs are so good.
Maiz Agua Sal - MAS
I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. It has a cult following for a reason. I have literally not had anything bad but recently my most favorite is the chicken lemon grass curry. The people there are so lovely and service is top-notch...
Lang Van
This and lang Van go head to head for me for a casual date night. It’s always consistent and again I have never had anything bad here. The Pollo or vaca Frita is my fave right now but I also love their salads.
Calle Sol Latin Café & Cevicheria
Yunta is SO good. You need to make a reservation several weeks in advance. The chaufa and nigiri is chefs kiss

I know this is a chain, but it’s an exception to the rule. Food is consistently good - I LOVE the gambas al ajillo and their gin and tonics - but swap with vodka.
Barcelona Wine Bar
This is maybe the first legit seafood restaurant in charlotte that we will be back to over and over again. I’m drooling thinking about the crudo and swordfish
Seaboy
this is top 3 best restaurant we’ve been to in charlotte so far. You don’t feel like you’re in charlotte. I will now forever need a Gilda with all my martinis to forward.
Rada
This is a regular go to spot for us for something fast and casual. We honestly love to just get the wings and some oysters and share. The spot is super cozy and can be really fun on a fall Sunday.
Growlers Pourhouse
This is also in my top three favorite restaurants in Charlotte so far. We went here for my husband‘s birthday and the service was amazing and we ordered almost every app off the menu. pro tip go on a Wednesday for their deal.
