items Did you know that in 1957 92% of all 18-month-olds in the US were FULLY potty-trained? It's true! This shift has been a cultural one, not a physiological one. I teach parents how to be done with diapers in about a month or two (link on my dashboard). Whether you join my workshop or not, potty training a little one before two can be messy! These products help minimize that. You'll also need some rags in a basket near the potties.
These are fabulous potties! It's important that your child is comfortable or they won't want to use it. I recommend having several scattered throughout the house.

I like this book, except I don't recommend rewards. You want them to do this because this is what we do. I knew one smart little boy who figured out he got a marshmallow every time he went to the potty, so he proceeded to go to the potty every ten minutes and fill up on marshmallows! Super cute, but not the motivation you are looking for here.
