If your child is a visual learner and struggling with memorizing the multiplication tables, I *highly* recommend this book! I cut the cards out and laminated them.
Memorize in Minutes: Times Tables Manual
For kids needing more of a challenge with math, this can't be beat. This was made by mathematicians, not teachers. It encourages a much deeper understanding of concepts.

DragonBox Math Apps - International Award Winning Series

One thing I realized is that a lot of books labeled “early reader” are actually NOT. They throw in wildly advanced words randomly. I found this series to be one of the few that actually uses the proper progression of word introduction.
Bob Books - Set 1: Beginning Readers Phonics, Ages 4 and up
Though it's a painfully old-fashioned website, it does a great job teaching the letter sounds.

We lived in Ireland for a year and this is the program they use there. Our son did really well with it for first grade, so we bought it for our 4 year old to do at home and he loved it as well.

This is a really great site (albeit old) where you can post any books you don't want anymore. If someone requests it, you ship it to them and get a credit. You can use that credit to request a book from someone else.
