Seven and One Books
This was the best way to get around Philly during our stay - we had one day for sightseeing and bought tickets that ran the entire day. We could hop on and off at any stop, and when we got back on, learn about all the cool things about the city. Each tour guide had their own vibe, and this helped cut down walking or extra travel fees. The information shared was engaging for all ages, too, with movie trivia discussed, history, theatre, art, architecture, and general details about the city and cultural impact.

Incredible beauties for the eye to see – what an incredible experience. Lots of gorgeous settings for photographs, koi ponds, zen/meditation areas, and even a beautiful view of the mountains.
Portland Japanese Garden
Lots of information available to keep all ages engaged. Also had an incredible opportunity to see a nesting bald eagle right next to the observation deck. The enclosures were setup with ample space, lots of enrichment activities, and a great carryover activity between food stops and visiting the japanese garden
Oregon Zoo
There's something to be said about seeing these monuments in person, as well as the local scenery. The whole loop of DC monuments was incredible. Our trip was a fast jaunt to pick up multiple states, but this was a good stretch for the legs and history experience for 2 adults and a 8 year old.
Lincoln Memorial (U.S. National Park Service)
This was one of the locations the Air Force base took families during my dad's time stationed in England. A staple name in England, Cadbury has been one of the chocolate producers that set my future expectations of how these treats should taste. Lots to see and do for the whole family - we also caught it one time during world chocolate day, and all treat stations gave out 2 candy bars each instead of just one.
