Beware! These books may (or may not) scare you!
Very good storytelling in this one.
The Dark Tower 8-Book Boxed Set
One of the best books I’ve read. King promises and delivers, as always.
The Stand
A true horror classic and one of his most famous works.
The Shining
You think you’re safe on a luxury cruise? Think again!! This book is compelling and full of twists you don’t expect. I enjoyed it from start to finish.
Passenger 23
The original Robert Langdon story. A deeply satisfying read.
The Da Vinci Code (Robert Langdon)
I really enjoyed this book and it got me excited for the rest of the series. It has everything, secret government agency, vampires, Frankenstein’s monster….
Department 19 (Department Nineteen Book 1)
The second book of the series. More vampires, more action and more secrecy to draw you into its version of our world.
The Rising: Department 19 Book 2
Book number three of the series. More danger, more action and the vampires’ grip on our world tightens.
Battle Lines: Dept 19 Novel Book 3
There’s so much happening in this book, it’s almost hard to keep track of it all. Still, I enjoyed to from start to finish.
Zero Hour (Department 19, Book 4)
The grand finale! Vampires, action, Dracula! What more could you want?
Darkest Night (Dept 19, Book 5)
Children’s books
If you’re looking for something to read or look at for your kids, take a peek in here.
My kids still love it when I read this to them, doing voices for each character.
The Gruffalo
Not loved as much as the original by my children, but they still enjoy it once in a while.
The Gruffalo's Child
Knowledge & Learning
Maybe a little outdated. Still, the basic principles still apply.
Rich Dad Poor Dad: Money Lessons for Kids
I’ve only recently bought this book and I haven’t really gotten far, but the premise of having proven instructions to actually be successful with your startup is very appealing.
