I used to just toss stuff on the table and hope it looked okay. Spoiler: it never did. Adding one tray gave the whole surface a focal point and made the clutter look like a deliberate arrangement.

Half-melted candles in random jars were killing my coffee table setup. These actually look good even when they're not lit, which is 90% of the time if we're being honest.

I had coasters scattered across every surface in my apartment. Putting a neat stack right on the tray means guests actually use them now instead of sweating rings onto my table.

Every night I'd lose the remote in the couch cushions and spend five minutes fishing it out. A dedicated spot on the tray fixed that problem permanently.

A tray with just a candle and remotes still felt flat to me. Adding one small plant or faux greenery gave it that third layer that made the whole thing click.

Stacking a book or two under the candle on the tray added height and made the whole arrangement feel more layered. Plus guests actually flip through them, which is a nice bonus.

Once I had the tray, candle, and coasters sorted, these small additions were what made it go from ‘organized’ to ‘wow, your place looks really nice.’ Details matter more than I expected.
