I used to dread applying screen protectors more than going to the dentist. Crooked edges, trapped dust, air pockets that mocked me. These actually went on clean the first time, and they stay that way.

I destroyed a supposedly rugged case within a month once. It split right at the corner where I needed it most. These are the ones that survived my parking lot drops, my kid throwing my phone across the room, and one unfortunate toilet incident.

My graveyard of frayed cables could fill a shoebox. The ones where the rubber peels back near the connector after eight weeks, exposing sad little wires. These are the cables I stopped replacing.

Nothing tests your patience like a phone mount that slowly droops until your GPS is pointing at your lap. Or one that launches your phone into the footwell when you hit a pothole. These actually stay put.

These are the random little things that fixed problems I didn't even realize I was tolerating. Like cleaning my screen with my shirt, or losing my grip during a walk, or that moment when your phone dies at 3pm because you forgot to charge it.
