I bought three different prop kits before the wedding because the first two looked cheap and flimsy in person. These are the ones that actually survived 150 guests and still looked good in photos.

The handheld stuff is great, but the wearable pieces are what really broke the ice. People who wouldn't pick up a stick prop had no problem putting on a ridiculous hat.

Without a decent backdrop, all those props just look like people holding stuff in front of a random wall. I learned this the hard way at a friend's party where every photo had a bathroom door in the background.

Harsh overhead light ruins everything. I spent all this money on props and backdrops for a friend's party and every photo looked like a police lineup. Never again.

The pre-made props are fun, but the signs where people write their own messages produced the funniest photos by far. One guest wrote ‘I only came for the cake’ and it ended up on our fridge.

Dumping props in a pile on a table looks terrible and nobody wants to dig through a mess. Once I organized everything into labeled containers, the whole booth ran itself without me hovering.
