I used to re-grip between sets because everything got slippery by game three. These are the ones that stayed put through full matches in 90-degree humidity.

Nobody talks about the base grip enough. I played for a year on the stock grip that came with my racket and it was basically a plastic tube. Swapping it out changed everything underneath the overgrip.

Overgrips can only do so much when your hands are basically faucets. I had to add a few accessories to stop the waterfall before it reached my grip.

Replacing grips used to take me forever and they always ended up lumpy. These tools made the process fast enough that I actually change grips as often as I should.

Sometimes the problem isn't the grip at all. My old racket had a tiny handle and a head-heavy balance that made it twist on off-center hits. Fixing those issues helped more than any overgrip could.

After two hours of tennis my hands used to cramp so badly I couldn't open a jar. Building grip endurance off-court meant I could hold the racket lighter during matches without losing control.
