We had an incredible meal here. Try the tasting menu if you're not fussy, and the wine is available from the vending machine!
Ristorante Ad Hoc Roma
Delicious gelato - needed if you go in the summer!
Gelateria La Romana
Had a beautiful meal here. Great hospitality and the pasta was to die for!
Angelino "ai Fori" dal 1947
The sights 🏛️
We did the ‘Classic Ancient Rome & Colosseum VIP Underground Access | Small group’ tour with Walks Inside Rome and it was great. Definitely recommend getting a package with underground and VIP access at the Colosseum, it’s amazing!
Walks Inside Rome tours
Got to be done. Beautiful building!
Pantheon
I believe there’s now a queuing system here, but it’s still worth a visit. Go first thing in the morning!
Trevi Fountain
Recommend visiting in the evening - happens occasionally as per the website. So gorgeous in the evenings!
Vatican Museums
I recommend a walk around the gardens and going on the boating lake - you get given a little parasol to live out your Mary Poppins dreams! Look out for the terrapins 🐢
Villa Borghese Gardens
The accommodation 🛌
The perfect Airbnb for exploring the city! Literally 2 minutes walk from the Colosseum - it’s at the end of the street 😆 would rebook it in a heartbeat!
