A few must-haves that I wish someone told me when I was moving away for university for the first time.

Toasties are good for any meal. So cheap and can be super quick if in a rush for class. Can include all your food groups if u really wanted it to. Also doesnt take up much room.

Im gonna make an assumption here and say that your uni room doesnt have much storage space. These are good to have for clothes, books, wires (hairdryer, chargers etc.) or even snacks that you wanna keep in your room.

If possible, bring a heater or heat blanket. Halls are guaranteed to be freezing. Even if you control the heating yourself, oil/gas gets so expensive.

Drying rack is so overlooked yet so important. A lot of accommodations dont have a dryer and this just makes life easier and dries clothes quickly.
