These are the tools that most home owners tend to already have on hand for simple projects or even putting simple furniture together but also are a must have for lots of other projects!
A simple yet STAPLE piece you ABSOLUTELY need for pretty much any and all projects! There are so many types so I reccomend finding one that feels right in your hands and will be easy for you to read!

Investing in a good set of screwdrivers is also a need! These are great for smaller projects if you are not ready yet to buy battery operated ones!

There is a variety of different level tools to choose from. I highly recommend getting a variety pack of multiple sizes or opt for a middle ground size that you can use for multiple projects/spaces.

Stud finders are another must have tool. Whether you are hanging a picture frame or a flat screen TV, you NEED to find the studs to assure whatever is being hung is secure correctly and will not fall.

Flashlights are another must have. Depending on the project, you may have some very dark areas you need to get to to screw something in, measure something, or just flat out need to see, so go add some flashlights to your toolbox kit!

This may seem silly, but DIY Projects come with messes, whether inside or out in the garage, having a quality vacuum to eaily clean up after your project is another must have!

Another underestimated tool to keep on hand! A hammer! Whether you are doing a demo of exisiting projects or simply hanging a picture, a hammer is more needed than not!

You just never know when you need extra help to pull a misplace screw out or a little more grip to tighten something. Having a good pliers set is another essential to have!

A impact driver is a life saver, essentially a electric screwdriver. This helps minimizes the time each project can take.
