I did this one, and it’s a brilliant mid range option if you want the best parks in a short time. The itinerary covers Tarangire, Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater, with game drives built in each day and accommodation.

Itineraries - Day 1 of our 4 day safari to Tarangire, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater
Day 1 of our 4 day safari to Tarangire, the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater 🐘🦁 We started in Tarangire National Park, which is apparently the place for elephants! But we also saw zebras, buffalo, giraffes, lions (which are rare here!) and even a leopard, though it was so tucked away in the bushes I couldn’t even get it on camera. We ended the day at Suricata Boma Lodge, which was part of our mid-range package but looked anything but mid! I mean look at that pool and sunset over Lake Manyara?! Not bad for day 1. Come back for day 2 in the Serengeti 👀 #tanzaniasafari #tarangirenationalpark #africatravel #serengeti #fyp

Itineraries - Day 2 of our Tanzanian safari
Day 2 of our Tanzanian safari! The Serengeti 🐆🦁 Such an amazing day! We saw all 3 big cats: lions, cheetahs (one wee’d on the other two 😂), and a leopard that strolled past our car. We stayed inside the park and the campsite had no gates! We had to radio for an escort after dark and even ran into buffalo on the way to dinner 😅 I’m still not over it 😭 And wait till you see what we woke up to the next morning… come back for day 3 👀 #serengeti #safari #wildlife #africatravel #travelblog

Itineraries - Day 3 of our Tanzanian safari
Day 3 of our Tanzanian safari! We woke up to lions having breakfast outside our tent in the Serengeti 🫠🦁 We’d heard some weird noises in the night but we didn’t expect that! We also saw hyenas at brekkie, lions in trees and hippos throwing mud tantrums. Come back for our final day inside Ngorongoro Crater 👀 #serengeti #safari #wildlife #tanzania #africatravel

Itineraries - Day 4 of our Tanzanian safari
Day 4 of our Tanzanian safari and it kicked off with lions at sunrise. 🦁 We headed into Ngorongoro Crater just as the sun came up and saw buffalo, a baby zebra, flamingos, hippos… and a hyena legging it past our car with part of a wildebeest in its mouth. Lovely! We watched hyenas feasting, jackals trying (and failing) to sneak up on baby warthogs, and finally spotted a black rhino in the distance! After four days exploring the Serengeti, Tarangirie National Park and Ngorongoro Crater with Suricata Safaris, I can honestly say this trip was something else. Would you go on a safari? And what animal’s top of your bucket list? #serengeti #safari #africatravel #wildlife #tanzania
