Skin Care
I take a deep breath and look at myself in the mirror — a little tired, a little imperfect, but still me. I pump a small amount of cleanser into my hand, cool and smooth, and gently massage it onto my face. I can feel the day melting away; dust, oil, and thoughts all rinsing down the drain.
Next comes toner — like a soft whisper on my skin, refreshing and light. I tap it in slowly, letting each drop sink deeper, like my skin is drinking water after a long day. Then serum. It glides like silk, a little glow left behind on my fingertips.
Moisturizer follows, comforting and warm — like wrapping my face in a blanket. My skin feels calm, hydrated, alive. I finish with sunscreen because future me deserves protection. The texture is soft, easy to spread, and it settles like second skin.
I step back and smile at my reflection. Not perfect — and that’s okay. What matters is I’m showing up for myself, even in small routines like this. My skin feels loved. I feel loved.
