Their house always had a vent fan in the bathroom or kitchen that always gave you the heebeejeebees. You've even had dreams of it sucking you up into it's jowls.
My bathroom still has the original exhaust fan from the 1960s.
That red light in their bathroom creeped you out for some reason. It felt as if it was watching your every move like HAL from the film 2001 Space Odyssey. It also gave the entire room an ominous glow- which was cool and creepy at the same time.
