My husband and I are total foodies and are always looking for somewhere new to try. These are our Tucson favorites, from tried-and-true spots we keep going back to, to hidden gems and new finds that are actually worth the hype.

HUMO COCINA MEXICANA
One of our favorite spots for pizza and now they’re in Marana!
Ciao Down Pizza
One of those hidden gems that always hits. Big portions and tons of flavor.
Asian Spice AZ
This place does not get enough credit! Super clean buffet and easily some of the best Chinese and Mongolian food in town.
Panda House Stir-Fry | Tucson AZ
Oro Valley
Come for the food, stay for the views. The food is SO good, but this location gets bonus points for having one of the best backdrops for a meal.
Seis Kitchen
Come for the pasta, stay for the dessert case.
Bottega Michelangelo
The tikka masala and garlic naan are always a win!
Saffron Indian Bistro
East Tucson
Some of the BEST pizza in Tucson. Worth the wait.
Penelope. Pizza
Such a fun nostalgic spot that feels like stepping straight into a ’50s diner. Classic burgers, fries and milkshakes, plus the retro atmosphere makes it especially fun with kids.
Little Anthony's Diner
University/Central Tucson
Hands down the BEST vodka pasta in Tucson.
Noodies
The BEST matcha in Tucson
Brucha
Such a cute all-in-one spot for coffee, brunch, dinner or drinks. The food is SO good, the space is beautiful and I love that you can shop local goods while you’re there.
Sam Hughes — The Sonoran House Tucson
The BEST bagels in Tucson.
Bubbe's Bagel
Northwest Tucson
Scratch-made comfort food done SO well. The burgers are great, the loaded waffle fries are dangerously good, and there’s always something on the menu we want to try.
Redbird Restaurants
Such a fun spot when you’re craving something different.
The Parish Tucson
Such a good burger spot when you want something a little better than your basic burger and fries.
Truland Burgers & Greens
One of my favorite little breakfast and bakery spots. The pastries are SO good, but don’t sleep on the breakfast either. Perfect for a slow morning when you want coffee, something sweet and a real breakfast all in one place.
Village Bake House
West Tucson
One of those Tucson spots that is 100% worth the line. The breakfast burritos are SO good.
Barista del Barrio
A Tucson staple for a reason. The burritos are huge, the tortillas are handmade.
Tania's 33 Grande
Downtown Tucson
One of our favorite spots for Japanese food in Tucson.
Eat Kukai
A literal hidden gem tucked into a little Downtown alley. Fresh handmade pasta, a rotating menu and some of the best pasta in Tucson. Don’t skip the gelato either.
Ceres Tucson
Kaiju Burger serves Japanese-inspired wagyu smash burgers inside the Gibson Food Hall & Market
Kaiju Burger AZ
South Tucson
Tucson must for birria. The cheesy birria tacos with consommé are SO good, but honestly this is one of those places where you’ll want to order a little bit of everything.
Rollie's Tucson
Some of the best tacos in Tucson. No frills, just really good Sonoran-style tacos, mesquite-grilled meat and a salsa bar that makes everything even better.
