Spent way too long researching kits before landing on ones that actually fit a normal backyard garden. These got water right to the roots without flooding everything around them.

Before I got a timer, I'd set the drip line running and then forget about it until my garden turned into a swamp. These fixed that problem completely.

Not every plant needs the same amount of water. Figuring out different emitter flow rates was the thing that finally stopped me from drowning my herbs while my tomatoes stayed thirsty.

The tubing is where most people get confused or buy the wrong size. I made that mistake twice before figuring out what actually works together without leaking at every joint.

Skipped the filter my first year and spent August unclogging emitters one by one with a toothpick. Never again. These parts cost a few bucks but save hours of frustration.

Laying drip lines on bare soil is a recipe for UV damage and tripping hazards. A few cheap accessories and some mulch made my whole setup last longer and look way cleaner.
