I have been designing and making T-shirts with Cricut since 2019!
Step 1: Buy Cricut Maker (I have a Cricut explore 2) it cuts regular vinyl, iron- on for fabric, cardstock, paper, and glitter material.

Step 2: setup (if you already own one) or buy a laptop MacBook or HP (I have the MacBook Air 13)

Step 3: Download software for designing (I use Design Space)

Step 4: Buy vinyl (if you are making apparel you need HTV (heat transfer vinyl) if you are not making apparel you will need (permanent)

Step 5: buy cricut grip mat (this is the standard grip) I have other grips but this is my go to
