5/10: irritated my face and I saw no improvement in dark spots. disclaimer: I suspect I am sensitive to vitamin C, and that may be why I reacted. I have heard lots of good reviews on this serum so it may depend on your skin type.
10/10: actually worth the hype because it is soothing and suitable for all skin types- like a magic water. It has simple ingredients and would work well for anyone. I would repurchase, but I still do not think it is essential in a routine- it is soot... won't cause any breakout unless you are allergic to centella.
