This was a wild experience. Nothing like visiting an Irish prison to get the creeps. It isn't actually used anymore. Thank goodness. You will find it south of Dublin.

Definitely worth a visit. It is inland between Dublin and the little town of Kinsale. You don't have to take a tour, but I always love the depth of knowledge from local tour guides.

You need to go here, but there are some warnings to consider: It can get very crowded and it could be so foggy that you can’t see anything, so check the weather and don’t go during peak tourist time.

This island is worth a visit, but you can only get there by walk on ferry or plane. We took the ferry. When you get there, you can rent a bike, take a guided tour, or just walk around. It can get pretty crowded but it is an absolutely lovely place.
