Homegoing: 9781101971062: Gyasi, Yaa: Books
I didn’t cry, but it did break my heart a tiny bit. Definitely something to carry as I go through work.
My Sister's Keeper: A Novel (Wsp Readers Club)
Half way through I thought I knew everything that did and would happen. The last 50 pages wrecked me.
The Stationery Shop
whatever you think this book is, it’s so much more. the only thing I can liken it to is an Ojibwe Veronica Mars story.
Firekeeper's Daughter - Books
there are so many aspects that make the story compelling. the chemistry of it all, the mysteries, the irony and sadness. I wouldn’t say this story is hilarious but it reminds me of a comfort TV show “bones” with less nationalism.
Lessons in Chemistry: A Novel - Books
the main character and I shared some similarities that made me love her at times and yell into the abyss at others. good, easy, predictable but enjoyable read. some spice but much fluff, of course between yelling at the characters for stupid decision...
Love in the Time of Serial Killers
Greek mythology. England. Cambridge. Psychotherapist. Murder. I mean… how could I not be intrigued. It was a super easy read, taught me things, scared me, and make me more excited to see what this author has next.
The Maidens: A Novel - Books
oh my god. amazing. enemies to lovers told in beautiful regency era. truly a book I want to hold in my hands and never get rid of. I see myself a lot in kitty and she’s also what I want to be.
A Lady's Guide to Fortune-Hunting: A Novel - Books
