Outdoor Things to Do
The BEST summer market in my opinion in the city. Seriously any vendor you can think of, from local produce, dairy, meats, sweet treats, all the way to artisans with self-made pottery, paintings, pet goodies, and more. Free to enter, but you can't le...
SoWa Open Market
As long as it's not a noreaster, the gardens is a must see in the city. Beautiful all times of year, especially when in bloom.
Public Garden
A sometimes forgotten spot, this is really fun and perfect for all ages. Plus, it's a great Instagramable place to be!
the Lawn on D
One of my favorite shopping streets in the city. There is a store for literally anything you can think of.
Newbury Street | Boston MA
Restaurants
A little off the beaten path from your typical Boston explorations, but Ziggy's is well worth the trip to Oak Square. My favorite pizza by far in Boston.
Ziggy's
On the pricier side, but perfect for a special occasion. Don't leave without trying the dirty martini!
Grill 23 & Bar
Can't say enough about this place, and highly recommend trying to sneak downstairs to the record lounge. The ambiance is top tier, and so are there carefully crafted cocktails and small bites!
Desnuda cocina & bar
My FAVORITE restaurant in Boston and I don't think it gets enough love. Definitely make sure to get a reservation, and although it can be tough and you may be limited to odd times, it's soooo worth it.
Mamma Maria
A fav, repeat date night spot! Both levels are special in their own way. The gnocchi is to die for.
Rochambeau
Another underrated spot in the city. A little more expensive, but perfect for a special night out. The service and atmosphere make this an elevated experience.
Mistral
Small and cute in my personal favorite neighborhood of the city - The South End. KAVA is a well loved staple in my restaurant rotations.
KAVA neo-taverna
If you're in the mood for more interesting types of pizzas, Stoked should be your go-to. Plus, they give every diner or to-goer a surprise rice krispie treat!
Stoked Wood Fired Pizza Co.
I take every single Boston visitor to Lookout Rooftop in the warm months. This bar has handsdown the BEST city views. While the cocktails do get a bit pricier, one or two is worth the priceless sights.
Rooftop at The Envoy
Want to catch some live jazz while enjoying some cocktails? Check out the Beehive!
Beehive Restaurant
Arts & Entertainment
There are so many shows with a wide variety of prices, and all are worth it. An evening at symphony hall is such a breath-taking night with the space alone. I love catching a show here.
Boston Symphony Orchestra
Even as someone who isn't big on museums, this is one I can go to again and again without ever getting bored of. Make sure to read up on the art heist before visiting!
Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
Need an indoor activity? Check out Sky Candle! They help guide you through the process and the best part, you get to take home your self-made candle! There are so many scent combinations to choose from. And a chunk of their proceeds go to local anima...
Sky Candle Bar, South End
My favorite underground comedy show with local sketch comics! Cheap tickets and a promise that you'll go home with a smile after endless bursts of laughter!
