These are the books that kept me saying “just one more chapter” until suddenly it was way too late. My favorite addictive reads that are actually worth your time.

Mystery - Thriller
I loved it. I felt like the beginning was a little slow, but then I quickly got pulled into Pippa’s investigation. I was a little disappointed by the Netflix series made about it.
A Good Girl's Guide to Murder Complete Series Paperback Boxed Set: A Good Girl's Guide to Murder; Good Girl, Bad Blood; As Good as Dead
The story is incredibly disturbing, but I couldn’t put it down. At the end of every chapter, my jaw was on the floor and I had to keep going. When I finished it, one eye was crying, but I was relieved that it's over.
John Marrs - What Lies Between Us
I absolutely loved this book by John Marrs too. It was full of twists, and I couldn’t put it down either because every chapter ended by dropping another shocking detail, and I haaadd to keep reading.
John Marrs - The One
I watched the Netflix series first, and damn, I think I finished the book in one day right after. It’s full of twists, with a jaw - dropping plot twist at the end, dark and mysterious the whole way through.
Alice Feeney - His & Hers
This is a timeless classic. I think everyone should read it at least once.
Bram Stoker - Dracula
Another classic - dystopian vision of the future. This is a must-read too.
George Orwell - 1984
Captivating, a relatively short book with a true gothic horror style. Thought-provoking and memorable - recommend it to everyone.
