Outdoor Activities
Great area in the park and so often missed by tourists. There are 3 different playgrounds for kids, a seasonal pizzeria, large picnic lawn and just the best views of the city. Plus there's a ferry stop right here!
Pier 6 - Brooklyn Bridge Park
Beautiful walk above the park with lots of benches. The view to all lower Manhattan is unbelievable. If you walk to the north end there's a connection to Squibb Park takes takes you down to BBP through a large bridge.
Brooklyn Heights Promenade
This play are was just recently completely redone! Great for toddlers and younger kids. Can't beat the view! There's an ice cream spot right next to it during the summer.
Pier 5 Playground
Restaurants
Amazing waterfront spot, great ambiance. Their pizzas are phenomenal, but also love the whipped ricotta appetizer and pastas with fresh truffle.
Cecconi's DUMBO
My favorite dinner spot right now!
Café Brume
Amazing french bistro that always delivers. I love their brunch menu (hello to the best Croque Madame in NYC!) as well as dinner. Cocktails are delicious too!
Chez Moi
Solid sushi spot, love the variety of their omakase options.
